Motto and Focus
The main motto of this conference will be
„Animal Health and Sustainable Livestock Production”
This conference encompasses and welcomes all recent, novel and innovative research on animal hygiene, animal health and welfare and sustainable livestock production.
In particular, focus will lie on prevention strategies against the development and spread of diseases and pathogens in animals including those that pose a risk to human health (zoonoses) as well as food safety relevant infections and contaminations introduced and transmitted at critical points along the food chain. Herd or flock health management as well as modern techniques such as precision livestock farming are other interesting topics of the congress. Animal by-products and waste management and the associated issues of microbiological safety as well as the environmental impact of modern livestock production round up the major conference topics.
