How to get to Vienna
By plane
Vienna is connected to many important destinations worldwide by more than 170 direct flights originating or arriving at Vienna International Airport. More than 50 airlines operate from Vienna. The congress venue can be easily reached by City Airport Train, airport Express Bus, Rapid Transit Rail or taxi. Please expect approx. 30 minutes transfer time depending on volume of traffic.

By train
Several major railway stations connect Vienna with surrounding European countries.

By car
Vienna also lies on the convergence point of several major transit routes. Limited free parking area will be available around university campus, parking in the central areas of Vienna however is limited to 1 - 2 hrs and a parking voucher is required.
Public transport
Interconnecting networks of underground and commuter trains, streetcars and busses provide comfortable and expedient travel within Vienna and beyond its limits.

How to get from the airport to congress venue
Venue: Campus of the University of Veterinary Medicine Vienna, Josef Baumanngasse 1, A-1210 Vienna, Austria.
Vienna International Airport is about 16 km east of Vienna in Schwechat. There are three main options for getting from the airport to Vienna city centre: the bus, the train or a taxi.
In order of expenses:
- Train S7 (cheapest, but slowest)
- Bus service operated by operated by Vienna Airport Lines
- City Airport Train – CAT
- Fixed fare airport taxis (ie. Airportdriver)
- Regular taxis (most convenient, but most expensive)

Most of the hotels are conveniently located along metro line U1.
To go to the congress venue, you can select roughly two routes:
- Option 1
Wherever you are, board metro line U1 (destination Leopoldau) and get off at station „Kagran”
Change at „Kagran” into bus line 27A and get off at „Josef Baumanngasse 1 / Veterinarmedizinische Universitat” right opposite the University's main gate- Option 2
Wherever you are, board metro line U1 (destination Leopoldau) and get off at station „Kagraner Platz”
At „Kagraner Platz” hop on tramway line 26 and get off at „Josef Baumanngasse 1 / Veterinarmedizinische Universitat” and walk to the University's main gate ~5 min
